She stumbled in the darkness, eyes wondering back and forth for her assignment, the soul she was supposed to release. It was no where in sight, his body lost forever more in the darkness of the sea. Hunters on her trails, her seen as evilshe only stood sadly, afraid for the poor trapped soul.

Standing in the darkness, he watched the blonde. He'd seen her a few times, a reaper. Reapers were something he was use to seeing. With all the death that surrounded him, they weren't uncommon. But Helena was different. She was beautiful, smart and most of the time cold. But as she passed by, he stepped out from the shadows.
"You've already lost him my dear. Your poor little soul is no where around." His black wool trench stopped mid calf and moved as he walked stepped in behind her.

She glided on her heels, feeling awful for the trapped and lost soul but there was nothing she could do. The body had refused ot let go, the man slipped forever into a dark abyss. She placed her hands in her pockets of her jjacket that lay losley over her black coresette. Though she felt not heat or no cold it felt natural.
At first she was unaware of his pressence, but it was when he spoke was when he had sent shivers through her. A Chilling and calm voice, cold and unknown. As she turned a light blonde curl fell infront of her face caught on her lip softly. "I have failed to relinquish him. So now he slips inot the cold."

"So you have lost a soul. I must say that is quiet amusing. I think you're losing your touch." He commented. Clasping his hands behind his back, he walked up to her. It was hard to judge whether they were friends or not. Maybe. They had known each other for a very, very long time. Some might have mistaken them for past lovers, that was, more or less, true.
"You didn't come to my masquerade. I have to say I was offended that you couldn't grace us with your pressance." He came to stand a little off to her side, still watching her.

She felt slightly offended by his words. "Losing my touch am I? It is not my fault that the man could not let go of his past as easy as others such as myself." Her blue eyes fell upon his face, strong and bold, yet with a calming cold expression that never ceased to catch her eye.
"I was terribly busy, with death and all. I am sorry I could not attend, really my still heart bleeds." She was never much for masquerades, though it was the truth. She was very busy.

"Some people enjoy their pasts. In fact just yesterday I met two lovely girls. I don't think you came by to collect their souls, so you didn't have the chance to meet them." Walking around her, like he was a predator circling pray, he stopped behind her. Leaning in, his face parallel to hers, he whispered.
"You always were a terrible liar. I know you weren't busy at all." Call it low of him, but he had her followed by Dominic. She interested him still and when she blew him off, then it peeked his interest at what she'd be doing instead.

"What can I say Jareth, I cannot collect all the souls of the world, only those of who appear on my list. But atleast you met someone who had peaked an interest." She watched him carefully as he circled, her eyes stopped on his figure until he was out of sight. She felt his pressence now behind her, close, leanining. No one had every sent chills through her, except for him. Her eyes closed, a smirk playing across her pale lips.
"So it is not my nature to lie, and so maybe I am terrible at it. I cannot be perfect you know. For perfection can never be obtained." She still did not turn to face him just yet.

Stepping off to her side, he reached around and cupped her face. Turning her chin, forcing her to look at him, he smile.
"My dear, you already are perfection." But then he let her go and with his hands behind his back, took a few steps away from her. "I have a request. A favor to ask from you." Turning, he focused those deep brown orbs on her.
"I know you've dealt with a Spencer Everest numerous times. I have to admit, I kept a few tabs on her. She's one of the people to bring themselves back into my dear Riley's life and I can't let them go unchecked. But it's not really her that interests me. She has a sister." Flashing his pearly whites and the two fangs, his lips spread into a bigger grin.

She felt is hand cup against her face, pulling her in his direction so she would be looking at him. But as quickly as he had done so, he spoke, and quickly drew back taking his place infrotn of her again. "No Jareth I am not perfection..."
He had a favor. Who didn't already have a favor for her to complete? "Yes." She simply replied to him, her crystal blue eyes, empty and calm fallowed him once more. Speaking her name, Spencer Everest, oh it had rung several bells. "You mean the girl that has encountered death several times while on my watch?" She paused. "I know of her sister as well. The carefull one. Hailey, if I am correct."

"Yes. Hailey." He started walking away and by the way he moved, it was like he expected her to follow. And Jareth knew her well enough to know that she would. "She got smart, arrognant and knocked off one of my wolves. A newer one, barely use to being what he was."
Stopping about 20 feet away, he turned. "I want to make a deal. I want her soul." His face now grew cold, losing any hint of a smile as he got down to business. "What you want in exchange is entirely up to you."

She still watched him, not budging from her spot he spoke of Hailey and her actions. Helena had known if this pursuit that the younger one had fallowed through on. She stood up taller, her head in an elegnat position she listened as he performed a verbal plan or transaction. He wanted her soul.
"You do remember Jareth, I only release souls. When they are close to death. I have no ability to hand over her soul to anyone but the place that it is meant to go." She would have enjoyed to help him, but not in such a manor.

Jareth turned around and was instantly in front of her. It was like he almost didn't move, just glided over. His fingers wrapped around her throat and he held her tight.
"You forget who I am, Reaper. I'm over 200 years old and you will show me some respect." His digits tightened. "If I ask for your help, you will help me." Those soft brown eyes were now narrowed with a firery glare.

She knew he would not be content, that he would be angered, but she did not realize by how much it would affect him. His hand was wrapped tightly around her neck, feeling the air way tighten it distured her slightly even if hse had no need to breath.
"You forget, vampire." he stated coldly as her eyes to, narrowed with fire in the cold ice. "I maybe be years behind you, but I cannot do what I cannot do! I cannot reap her soul unless it is her time to go! You can punish her! Try and kill her! I would love to help but alas I cannot!" She brought her hand up, even iwth her anger, her touch was soft as she wrapped a hand around his wrist. Though she did move his hand just yet.

Jareth rarely got violent. But when things didn't go his way, well, they didn't end pretty. Once her small fingers wrapped around his wrist, he let her go. But within a split second, he back handed her. Then acted like nothing had happened. Fixing the cuff on his sleeve and smoothing out his coat, he watched her.
"No matter. I'll end her life, push it to it's very brink. Then you will reap and hand her soul over to me." A little smile came over his lips, like they were talking about something as simple as the weather. "Do I make myself clear?"

She stood still, regaining her calm instantaniously as if, nothing had ahappened at all. "Yes." She muttered quietly. There was an air about him that drove her crazy and gave him the power to make her feel so small and insignificant.
She straightened herself up and stared at him again, her eyes dropping back into and icey emptiness, brushing a golden curl from her face. She still smelt fall, but she tried not to show it. She tried very hard.
"J'ai dit que vous la perfection ne peut pas ĂȘtre obtenue... "
