"It's nothing more than survival of the fittest, most common law. I'm only making sure she can survive."
"Sounds more like murder to me."
"The only murder here is a mothers love."
"The only murder here is her future in your hands."
Her eyes snapped open, her vision hazy as she looked around almost frantically. Things could hardly be made out, the shine of the leather, the glare of the head lights behind them. Her heart pounded in her chest, the sound filling her ears. Those voices, kept ringing in her head, one she made out clear, as they say. A child never forgets their mothers voice. But the other, was harsh, empty, sinical. Demonic.
The dreams came more frequent, sometimes it was just darkness, with voices emerging, and other times it was different. Other times it was the yellow eyed demon, saying horrid things, telling her things, commanding her, demanding bloodshed in her wake.
Her breath was shallow, raspy, quivering over her tongue. She wanted to scream.

Sam was looking out the window at the store Dean had went for supplies. He was taking his sweet time. Either there was an attractive shopkeeper keeping him busy, or he was taking his time in the toilet with those bowel movements they were forced to listen to for the last three hours. Hearing Spencer stir behind him, he glanced back briefly, but not enough to notice something was wrong. Reaching down into the glove box, he pulled out a twinky and offered it back over his shoulder, thinking she'd be hungryr after that long nap.

She shook her head and pushed it back over her shoulder, not even near hungry after that little dream. She began to sit up straight, taking in another ragged breath as she looked up, facing forwards, no Dean. Just Sam.
She looked around, the parking lot of the small store was near empty, which for a moment worried her. Deams like that were often fallowed by danger.

Sam pulled the twinky back and tore at one end of the wrapper, bringing it up to his own mouth. "Dean isn't back yet." he mumbled as he ate a mouthful of the sweet goodness. Glancing back at her, he finally noticed something wrong. "Are you OK?" he asked, his brow furrowing at Spencer.

She looked up again, and shook her head. Always like Dean to not be there when she needed him, then again, with this sort of thing he'd be no help at all. But Sammy, that was a different story. "No." She muttered quietly, before looking at him. "It was a dream." That would be hint enough for him.

Sam bit his lip as his brow softened and he exhaled lightly. He knew exactly what she was talking about and that didn't make it any easier. "What happened?" he asked softly, eyes centred on her as he forgot about everything else.

Shaking her head she looked down. "This time there were no images. Just voices. The demon and my mom. And this time it had to ahve been the past cause he wasn't giving any kind of command." She then looked back up, it was bad and they both knew it. Bad, was actually an understatment.

Resting a comforting hand on her shoulder, he smiled through the worry, "Everything's going to be fine." he convinced himself. Letting his hand slip off, he looked out the window again for any sign of Dean. He wasn't in sight. Should they worry him about this? He'd more than likely get overprotective and start hunting the thing harder still. Anything for Spencer.

She nodded, biting her lip briefly. "I hope so, I really do. But to be honest, this whole dream thing, I don't like it. I mean look what happened to all the others who had dreams like these." It was rare to find her in a situation in which she was scared, but when it came to Dean and Sam and the Demon, and her kind of 'species' she couldn't have been more freaked.

"Well they're not you. Don't look on what happened to them when you're so different, so stronger." Sam leaned round in the seat to make sure she saw him smile, "You don't need to worry when you're with Winchesters." They were all in it together, and Spencer needed to realise that what they had was a three musketeers motto. Nothing would happen while either he or Dean still had breath in their bodies. All for one, one for all.

Biting her lip again, she nodded slowly. "I know it's just, seeing all that and being around it tends to make a slight impact. And I'm just worried that again, I'll fall back into a stage where I can't control it all." She hated to sound so small and scared, but she guessed it was just natural. Every now and then a hunter was entitled to a little bit of fear.

"Be strong, OK?" with his tone, it was more of a command. Sometimes they just needed to grin and bear it. Spencer was going through a rough patch and Sam knew exactly what she was going through but too much negativity led them into weakness and division, and those were qualities they could do without when facing the demon. He turned back round to face the front, now biting his own lip.

"Yes sir." A little more pep in her voicem, and a hint of sarcasim as she often had done to John when he gave an order. Bad habit some said on her behalf but, she didn't give a damn about her sarcasm. Sitting back a little more, she wathced the back of his head, the then the front of the store. Waitong for Dean to emerge.
