Once she was in the car, Roxy reached for the door, and closed it, not taking his eyes off of Tyler. What he said about the cops not finding out about his speeding made a small dimple appear in her right cheek. “Exactly. Plus, what they don’t know, won’t kill them,” she said, a smirk spreading across her lips. Once he started the engine, Roxy’s eyebrows rose with impression. “Wow. She really starts up nice,” Roxy commented as she leaned forward and rubbed her hand on the glove compartment. “So you were eyeing me eye a Mustang, huh?” Roxy asked as she leaned back in her seat. She glanced behind her to see if she could see her baby, but frowned seeing that it was now fully out of view, and she would have to wait until morning. “Well, I guess that this is the first time you’ve met a hot chick who drives a hot car. Is it too much of a turn-on for you to handle? Because if it is, I could always just lie and say it isn’t mine.” Roxy smirked again, and reached over, rolling down the window a little. As a Red Hot Chili Peppers song rang through the speakers, Roxy shook her head at Tyler’s question about her objecting new and old rock music. “God no. Not at all. This stuff is pretty much all I listen to,” she said, looking over at him, a smile playing along her lips. Thanks her brother, Trevin, rock music was mostly what she listened to. That was one of the very few things that Roxy was thankful for from her brother. As Roxy listened to the song, she realized what it was. “Scar Tissue,” she said in a voice a little lower that before as she drummed to the beat on her thighs.

Glancing over at her, he gave a little grin. "I think I can deal with the turn-on factor." He stated and then pretended to think about it. "Yeah. Definatly can handle it." She had commented on his truck, him on her ride. Man, wasn't this just a match made in heaven. The idea of that made him laugh, and he kept it quiet. Nice to know she could deal with his music tastes as well. All sorts of good points, yet he had no real intention of knowing her for very long. Reaching for the volume button, he turned it up a little. Why not show off just a bit? He wasn't a shy guy at all. "Scar tissue that I wish you saw. Sarcastic mister know it all. Close your eyes and I'll kiss you 'cause," He had to stop at that line. Just to tease her with the last line. The truck rolled along on the black top, heading towards teh outskirts of town. He had rented a room in a little motel, just off the road as you come in. Within the next few minutes, they were to his 'home' for the next few days. He eased the truck into a parking spot, just in front of a room door. "Well, madame, 'Home Sweet Home'." Cutting off the engine, he removed the keys and climbed out of his seat. Snatching his bag off the seat, he shut the door and walked over to the room. One key came from his pocket. It unlocked the door and he held the door open. "After you." Once again, he got a chance to study her from behind. Definatly no complaints on his part. The door swung shut with a heavy thud. Tossing his bag on the table, he sat down on the chair, proceeding to remove his boots. "So, what do we know about the deaths? Least, what's your theory? I'm sure that's one point you have to cover in the report."

A small grin found its way across her lips as she listened to Tyler comment about her asking if it was too much of a turn on for him to handle knowing a hot chick who drove a hot car. “Oh, you’re such a man,” she said after he answered her question, stating that he could handle the turn on. Roxy knew that she was definitely attracted to Tyler; she wasn’t going to deny it. He was obviously smart, charming, had beautiful hazel eyes in which she found herself keep getting lost in, and it didn’t hurt at all that he was good-looking. Roxy found herself more attracted to him than any other man she encountered in a long time. Of course, once the case was solved, Roxy would leave, and it she did run into Tyler again, it would be unplanned. As she listened to him sing along with the radio, Roxy smiled and laughed at the same time, making a mental note that he also wasn’t in the least bit shy. She listened to the lyrics up until the last time, which was where he stopped. From the point where he stopped, Roxy knew that he meant for it to be as tease. “And why would you kiss me?” Roxy asked curiously, a mysterious sparkle in her eyes. Before she knew it, they were at the motel already. It was definitely… cozy. The outside of the building wasn’t exactly spacious, and she expected the inside to be just cozy or even more. Getting out of the car, she walked over to Tyler and walked inside the room. Roxy was right; the room was just as cozy as the outside, but she didn’t mind. How much room could two people need, right? Once she heard the door close, Roxy turned and watched Tyler as he took off his boots, and made his way over to a chair, taking a seat. Slipping her off shoes, Roxy walked over to him, and pulled a second chair in front of him, and took a seat as well. “Well, I don’t really know much. Just that the people died in a real gruesome way, and that no weapons were found. It’s just one big mystery,” she said with a small sigh, glancing around the room before looking at Tyler, her eyes meeting his hazel ones.

Tyler glanced over at Roxy. He definatly was no stranger to a girl in his hotel room. But Roxy didn't strike him as a girl to jump right on him. Maybe she believed that he really was going to help with her studies. Smirking, he pushed himself out of the chair. She had asked a question and it was only right to answer. Stepping past her, he grabbed a folder off the bed. Upon opening it, he didn't look at her when he spoke. "I'd kiss you because you're cute." he explained. Standing by the table again he pulled out some paper. Articles about past murders, pictures, ghoul mythology, map of the cematary where it was happening. Now it looked like he might be scaring her off. Some of the articles, he spread out on the table, others he taped to the wall where more papers hung. Turning to look at her, he studied her reaction. "So, care to rethink any theories you have now, Miss Ryan?" He asked with a smile. "Careful now, this paper is worth half your grade." Tyler was starting to enjoy her smile, so he took every oppurtunity to tease. Easing back down into the chair, he kept on a smile. Noticing how close she was, he reached out to catch her wrist. With a little tug, he pulled her into his lap. Call him foreward but when did women every complain? Maybe she would protest. Put up a fight. It wouldn't bother him. He let her wrist go and just rested his hands on her thighs. Lucky gal.

Roxy had it figured out by now that Tyler had guessed that she wasn’t exactly… easy. Yeah, she might have flirted a little here and there, but definitely nothing that seemed to scream out: “Bed or wall? I could care less.” No, that wasn’t Roxy’s style at all. But Tyler… she didn’t know what was so special about him that she found herself intrigued to find out more and more about him. Shaking the thoughts from her head, she watched him as he walked to the other side of the room to get a folder. “Oh, so I’m cute?” Roxy asked, tilting her head to the side a little. She had figured that that was one of the reasons that Tyler had invited her back to his motel room in the first place. Along with helping her on her “paper”, of course. Standing up from the chair, Roxy placed her hands on the table, rummaging through the papers. “Wow. It seems like I’m not the only one doing their homework,” she said, her eyebrows raised with impressiveness. There was everything from murders to twenty years ago to the mythology on ghouls. Glancing around the room, she wondered why she hadn’t noticed more information tacked on the walls. “I have to admit that I’m a bit surprised. Yet impressed,” she added as she looked back over at Tyler. “It looks like I just might have to,” Roxy answered as she thought back to the murders and the way ghouls seemed to work into play. “Half my grade…. I guess we better get working, then. I think I’ll just go out of my way, and say the ghouls did it.” Roxy said with a smile at his tease. She let out a small chuckle as she felt him tug at her wrists and pull her onto his lap. Not getting off of his lap within the first ten seconds, Roxy had no objections. “Don’t tell me. Me being on your lap somewhat helps so concentrate.. get the wheels turning,” she suggested, glancing down at his hands as she felt him place them on her thighs.

Tyler glanced at all his articles. She didn't seem too surprised or turned off. Point for her. In all honesty, she seemed a little interested. This could prove to be an interesting night. Unless she really was hoping for some study help. It wasn't that he wouldn't, but it wasn't the first thing on his list. "Guess I'm just a bit of a myths nerd." He informed her. "Hauntings, legends, folklore on all things...supernatural. I stud it all. Just something about the possibility of it being true intrigues me." Tilting his head, he looked at her with a cocky grin. "You being on my lap is very distrating, but I live for challenges." "Lifting one hand off her lap, he reached for some articles. "Just look at the history here. Six people have died over the past 15 years. All of them in or around the local cemetary." He spread them out, showing obituaries, pictures of the cemetary. Glancing at her, he checked to make sure she was still unnerved by his theory, then continued on. "Each person looks like they were the main course in a five star meal. Now ghouls," He lifted her off his lap and stood. Walking away from her, he snatched a book from the night stand. "They enjoy feeding on flesh. Now stay with me here." He opened the book and began flipping through it. "Usually it's dead flesh. But if you were use to eating maggoty bread for centuries, wouldn't you jump at the change for some nice, suculant human?" Walking back to her, he handed the open book to her. It was open to a page on ghoul lore. Standing in front of her, he just watched as she took it all in. Course his eyes wandered after just a short moment and he was now taking in her curves.

Roxy was thankful that she really wasn't going to need help on her so called "paper". She had all of the imformation and then some that she needed right there in front of her face. It was as if Roxy had the answers to the test. All of Tyler's information that he had gathered on the ghoul was helpful and intriging at the same time. Roxy was beginning to wonder if Tyler was possibly a hunter. Roxy laughed a little when he called himself a myths nerd. "You're a very cute myths nerd, though. Give yourself the credit you deserve," she said with a smile as she reached down for the papers, reading them over. "I guess that's another thing we have in common. I'm also really into stuff like this. Vampires... werewolves. It's all so interesting. Imagine a world with everything that people grew up not believing in was real," Roxy said, cocking her head to the side a bit. She knew exactly how that world was like, considering she had encountered everything she mentioned, and was on the good and bad end of all situations. Listening intently as he spoke of what he had known and found out, Roxy nodded occasiontionally to show that she was understanding and following what he was saying. "Yes, I would jump at the chance of eating a nice, suculant human. But honestly, I would prefer a nice, juicy steak," she said, suddenly feeling hungry at the thought. Taking the book from Tyler's hands, Roxy skimmed and flipped from page to page. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say a ghoul is held responsible for this," she said as she closed to book. Roxy looked at Tyler in time to watch him as he admired her curves. Laughing a little, she took a step towards him, and handed him the book.

Tyler watched her flipping through the book. Now he was good at reading people. Being able to tell if they were lying or not. And this girl gave him teh suspiscion that she wasn't a journalism student. Infact, the occupation 'hunter' came to mind. Though, Tyler had never met a good looking gal who liked to hack off a few vampire heads or chase down shapeshifters, instead of getting a manicure. Therefore he wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. Tyler took the book back from her. There was a smirk on his face. This could be a show off between two hunters. If so, who would spill their secret first? Playing this game won't hurt. Stepping back, he headed for the dresser once again. Dropping off the book, he turned and leaned against the wood. "C'mon. Ghosts and ghouls are just stories. Fun to read but do they really exist?" Of course he knew they existed. Had delt with his fair share of ghouls on occasion. Maybe he could coax the truth of who she really was out of her. Even if it ment that she really was just a student. "Ok Nancy Drew, you really think a ghoulie is doing this?" First you challenge her and then distract her. Walking to his bag, he began pulling out some clothes and tossing them onto the bed. "We'll need to inform the police to get in touch with Ghost Busters." Grabbing the hem of his shirt, he pulled it over his head. He still wore a white tank underneat and hazel eyes fell on her. "Oh, I'm gonna shower, if that's OK?" He asked, trying to play innocent.

As she flipped and skimmed through the book, Roxy could feel Tyler's eyes on her. She pretended to be amused at what she was reading even though she already knew all of the information that her brain was taking in again. Roxy wouldn't be that surprised if he suspected her a hunter. If he did, that would make him a hunter himself. And all of the newspaper clippings on the walls were giving her suspicions that he was a hunter. Roxy turned as she felt him reached and take the book from her. "But I was getting to the best part." she said with a fake winy voice. Roxy watched him as he walked over to the dressar, and place the book on it. As he leaned against the wood, she found herself staring, and a blush creep onto her cheeks. "Of course they're just stories," she said as she took a few steps closer to him. Roxy was lieing, but this was the right time to do it. She was interested in Tyler, very interested, and she wasn't going to deny it. The last thing she needed to do was confess what she really did. Yeah... I'm a real life Ghost Buster. He would think that she was some sort of loony escaping from the bin. "Well, Mr. Frank Hardy..... I don't really know yet. I haven't exactly had a chance to do my dirty dectective work. You know how it always turns out, though. Some psycho-path in a mask doing all the killing. It's never the real thing." Roxy said, even convincing herself. She chuckled as he stated about them having to notify the police to get in touch with the Ghost Busters. "See... if I can see it and-" she started, suddenly stopping as she watched Tyler take his shirt off. "And touch it, it's real." Roxy finished, not taking her eyes off of him. "Oh, you're gonna go shower, and leave me all here by my lonesome?" she asked with a playful pout as she sat on the bed.

"See... if I can see it and- And touch it, it's real." Tyler noticed Roxy paused to stare before she continued conversing with him. Nice to know that he still had the Sosa charm. Hands worked on his belt and he slipped the leather strip from his belt loops. It was too tempting not to continue teasing her. Tossing the belt towards his bag, he arched a brow when she pouted. "Oh, you're gonna go shower and leave me here all by my lonesome?""I never said you had to wait out here." He pointed out. Grinning, he decided to tease her even further. Grabbing the hem of his shirt, he pulled it over his head. The ball of cloth was discarded. Standing there, he watched her with a grin. "I told you I was a great study buddy. It would be a lie if I didn't let you have some fun. I mean, you've worked hard enough already." Stepping past her, he went over to the table. Fingers scooped up the articles and placed them back in the folder. Turning around, he stared at Roxy. "Besides, if you strip now, it keeps me from having to use my imagination. And my imagination is a little weak." He started fro the bathroom. Standing in the door, he flipped the light on before turning around to look back out at her. "You can even keep some clothes on. THink of it as a pool part." Forearms rested on the door jam and he leaned out. "What have you got to lose?"

"I never said you had to wait out here."Roxy nodded and walked closer to him, making eye contact for a second before her attention was drawn a litttle lower as he began to pull at the hem of his shirt. Again, she felt herself staring, and another blush creep onto her cheeks. "Good because I would be bored to tears." she said, making eye contact again. "I told you I was a great study buddy. It would be a lie if I didn't let you have some fun. I mean you've worked hard enough already."As he said this, Roxy tilted her head to the side a bit, and nodded agreeingly. "Yes, you are a great study buddy. Without you, I would still be at the point where I'm.... I don't know where I would be at." she said with a shrug. Tyler hadn't helped her with a paper that she wasn't even working on in the first place, but he had helped her narrow down the suspects on the case she was working on. Not to mention, a man that she was interested in was standing in a bathroom doorway shirtless, practically inviting her to shower with him. Roxy was pretty happy at the moment. "Besides, if you strip now, it keeps me frown having to use my imagination. And my imagination is a little weak. You can even keep some clothes on. Think of it a as a pool party. What have you got to lose?"Roxy laughed and stepped closer to him, standing only inches from him as she stood in the doorway. "I can keep only some clothes on? And which garments would those be, Mr. Sosa?" she asked, finding her eyes traveling across his chest and down to his abs. "A pool party..." Roxy started, her eyes taking the some trail up to meet his. "Darn. Too bad my bikini is in my bag, which is in my car. And that's not here. Now, if my clothes got wet, what could I change into?" she asked with a quick snap of her fingers, a smirk spreading across her lips.

"And which garments would those be, Mr. Sosa." Tyler looked down with a boyish grin like he was shy. Giving a little shrug of the shoulders, he looked back up at her. It was a trick question. She would be expecting him to choose a revealing garment to splash around in. Pushing away from the door jam, he turned around and put his attention on the shower. "Anything you want doll. And please," He looked over his shoulder at her. "It's Tyler." Grinning, he turned the handle and let the water come pouring out of the faucet. Changing it over to the shower spray, he turned back to face Roxy. Now she was still avoiding his invite. Clever though. She wasn't flat out refusing. "Now, if my clothes got wet, what could I change into?""I'd probably be willing to hand you a t-shirt afterwards." He started to undo his jeans and step out of them. "C'mon, if you slip I'll catch you." For her sake, he'd even keep some clothes on. It wasn't exactly one of those large, marble showers he'd found himself and a few other girls in before. But this was a still a shower and there was still the prospect of having a girl there as well. "Besides, if you don't shower, you're just going to stink." He pointed out bluntly as he held the curtain hope with one hand and gestured towards it with the other. "Well?"

"Anything you want, doll. And please, it's Tyler."Roxy was still putting off her answer, still deciding whether she was going to join Tyler in the shower or not. It's a shower, Roxanne. A harmless shower. she thought to herself as she watched Tyler turn on the bathtub's faucet. "Good answer. I was expecting something more along the lines of: 'Well, I'm praying for nothing, but...'" Roxy said with a smirk as she stood in the doorway, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'll probally be willing to hand you a t-shirt afterwards.""Oh, funny and you give donations." Roxy said un-crossing her arms from her chest as she took a couple of steps closer to him. As he got the actual shower going, she stuck her hand in, testing the water. It was perfect. "Besides, if you don't shower, you're just going to stink." After he said this, Roxy nodded agreeingly. What Tyler said was absolutely true. Not just in her case, but for anyone's. "True.... You must have been on the debate team in high school, Tyler." Roxy said with a smile. "I say, let's have one hell of a pool party." she said with a smirk as she pulled her shirt off, and tossed it over to the bed. That left her in a pair of jeans and a black laced bra. "Everything else stays on, though." she pointed out seriously, making eye contact.

Tyler was speechless for a moment when pulled off her shirt. Eyes wondered over hre body and his lips parted slightly. A grin spread across his lips. He really shouldn't try to use her. But it was pretty damn hard to put up that gentleman act. "Your uh, pants are gonna get wet." "Everything else stays on, though." Meh. He could deal with that. Course, it wouldn't be above him to try and con her out of the jeans. Still if they did get wet, she would have to lose them.Tyler was the first to step into the shower. Warm water hit his feet and it felt great. Holding out his hand, he offered to help her in. "Like I said, you don't want to stink." He was having a hard time deciding on what to do with her. It sounded horrible but he was a guy after all. Looking outside the tub, he noticed water collecting on the tile in pools. "We're making a mess." He stated and slowly started to pull the curtain shut. He was starting to think that he wouldn't want to chase Roxy away first thing in the morning. She was a nice girl. Funny, cute a little weird with her interest in ghoulies. What's not to like? Watching the water hit her more on the shoulders now, he couldn't help but laugh a little. "See? I told you it wouldn't be so horrid."

Roxy couldn't help but smile and chuckle softly as she watched his eyes wonder around her body now that her shirt was off. Normally, she would be upset when guys made it obvious that they were checking her out. Roxy it was just one of those guy things, but it still got to her. But when Tyler looked at her like that, she didn't mind at all. "Your uh, pants are gonna get wet." Roxy glanced down and saw that her pants were already getting wet. "I think my pants are getting wet." she said with a small smile, looking back up at him. "Such a gentlemna." Roxy stated as she took his hand, and stepped into the shower. She smiled and inhaled deeply as she felt the water splash against her skin. It felt good and was refreshing at the same time. "See? I told you it wouldn't be so horrid." "Horrid is the last thing that's on my mind right now." Roxy said, speaking over the sound of the water splattering all around them. She watched as the water dripped from Tyler's face, onto his shoulders, and down his chest, going lower to his abs. A small smile spread across her lips as she nibbled gently onto her lower lip. "I can definately get used to this." Roxy said, wiping the water from her face.
