Jacen’s slumber was like that of any hunter, or paranoid hunter at least. He slept with a knife under his pillow, a gun on the night table, and even a machete under the bed, stowed away. He was a very wanted man, so when he heard the door to his bedroom creek open, he instantly thought that the foolish assassin should have waited until he was in his REM sleep. However, he wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box at the time, considering he was still mostly asleep. Hearing the woman’s voice, whisper his name when nudging his shoulder, he didn’t even register it could be Riley or Rocky or even an innocent person. His hunter instinct just took over as well as his libido. In a flash, he had sat up, grasping the supposed ‘attacker’s’ wrist before pulling her down on the bed and pinning her wrists to the mattress. Leg’s had straddled her, pinning her hips down with his as he looked down to the girl. Against his hold, few even had a chance. Hands had constricted against her wrists and just made sure he didn’t have much weight on her stomach. His sleep attire wasn’t much. Some shorts without a top and when he saw it was Riley –which was difficult to make out in the dark- he was thankful that the only fabric between them was her thin shirt. Scanning over her, it took him a moment to realize it wasn’t an attacker or an assassin, but rather just Riley. Therefore, his hunter’s instinct was replaced by his libido. It was in the middle of the night, dimmed to the point where his eyes would have to adjust just to make Riley out, barely wearing any clothes and in the state of it, he thought they should have hung a ‘Do not disturb’ sign on the door for the maid. Just staring her down, he couldn’t help it, however. Leaning down, he pressed his lips to hers as if it were a heated battle between her lips and his. Maneuvering, he tilted his head differently when continuing with his session. Hands that were on her wrist had loosened and then moved down, touching the soft skin of her forearms before they had trusted upwards again. Digits had laced with hers tightly in a grip like that’s how he controlled himself before he had taken his lips away a couple of inches from her. With his shortness of breath, he stayed still as he thought and tried to control the pace again, but still felt the warmth of her kiss on his lips. Not glancing to her, not even meeting her eyes again, his hands had let go of hers and swung his leg over her, letting her go. Kneeling beside her on the bed, hands on his lap, his hick accent had come out again when he said simply and cruelly, “Get outta here.” Dismissing her again.

The barn had been quiet most of the night. Jared was surprised that Jareth hasn't harassed his mind or sending either Rowan and/or Dominic out to bring him back. So, despite the quiet night, he was restless. He had already climbed down once and poked around the barn. He'd been outside, he had tried to sleep and now he was lying awake, on his measly bed of worn blankets in the loft. Jared was usually a heavy sleeper but in his worried state, he just couldn't drift off. Riley was up in the house; alone, stuck with that pig of a man called Jacen. Even Rocky being up their worried Jared a little. She may have lied to them, but he had quite an interest in her. After dwelling on the thought of both girls being around that beast, he pushed himself off the loft floor. He couldn't stay here all night worrying. It took him a matter of minutes to climb down the ladder and jog from the barn up to the house. Riley had talked about having the extra bedroom and that left Rocky with a couch or something like that. Jared had to admit, that he trusted Riley to stay away from Jacen about as much as he trusted Jacen to stay away from her. Slipping into the house through the kitchen door, he noticed the rifle by the door. "Of course. Never leave him without it, I'm sure." Glaring at the metal weapon, he ventured further into the kitchen. It was nice sized and thoughts of ransacking the fridge were already going through Jared's head. "Why not?" With that thought in mind, he set to work. But what Jared didn't know, was that just beyond the kitchen door lay the living room. And that would be where the little temptress Raquel must be laying her head. But he was too engrossed with poking around in the fridge to notice. Within minutes he had stuff spread out along the table on the counters. It looked like the beginning of a sandwich, which was why he was snooping around in the cupboards for bread. Once he had all the condiments, meats and grains pulled out, he set to work on this 'masterpiece'. "If I were alcohol...where would I hide?" Jared had finished making up the snack and now figured he'd be able to find some kind of liquor here. Walking back to the fridge, he opened the door and started to rummage around again.

As soon as his finger closed around her wrist, Riley's heart had jumped into her throat. Jacen would never physically hurt her but she was terrified for those first few minutes. How stupid was she to sneak up on a trained hunter? Her back hit the bed and he had soon straddled her. Ok, she should be annoyed now but she wasn't sure why she didn't. Having him that close to her, himself shirtless and herself lightly clothed screwed up her feelings. She could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks as his hips pinned down her own. "Jacen. It's me." But he didn't seem to hear her at first. But when he did, his actions completely threw her off guard. As his hands pinned her wrist down, a small gasp escaped between her soft lips. Closing her eyes, shivers ran down her spine as his digits trailed down over her forearms. No...this wasn't suppose to be happening. She left him. She didn't need to start igniting that old flame. But his lips connected with hers and all she could say to that promise was, 'screw it'. Tilting her head, she worked her lips against his. Matching his fierce passionate kiss with her own desire. Did she love him or was it all just lust? She had never been able to answer that question. She thought she loved him back when they were still spending time together. But after she left him, she told herself it wasn't love, it was lust. Now, once again, she was questioning which it was. But it was over all too quick and soon he had pulled away. Feeling him climb off of her, Riley pushed herself up onto her elbows. Green eyes stared at him in shock and hurt. "Get out." Came his gruff command and left Riley confused. She hadn't even come in here for some 'booty call'. He had pulled her down, kissed her heatedly and now was ordering her away like she was some whore? Glaring a little, she wasn't going to be tossed away like this. She tasted the desire, the want and felt the exact same way. Pushing herself up, she cupped his face with both hands and started to kiss him again. There was nothing wrong with a little friendly contact. She had to desire to sleep with him, well that was a lie, but she still wouldn't. Moving her hands away from his face, she rested them against his bare chest. If he pushed her away again, fine. But why not just get some of the tension out of the way? Sitting up more so she kneeled on the bed, she inched a little closer again. One hand came and pushed through his hair, her lips connecting with his again. Finally she stopped long enough to speak. "No." Her eyes held his gaze, challenging him to shove her out again. Either confirm that he cared nothing about her. That she was just a convenient piece of ass that came around occasionally. But even if he had just a small amount of affection left for her, then he could at least show it.

Rocky’s slumber wasn’t interrupted by the various sounds of the wilderness outside and it was exclusively because she wasn’t sleeping. The hunter laid on her back, staring at the dark ceiling with a slightly puzzled and hurt expression. God, she just didn’t want to be here and probably would just leave before anybody else even woke up. Being around Jacen was like a game of tug-o-war. No matter how much it hurt and all the pain you had to endure, it wasn’t worth it, but you couldn’t let go. And Jared? She didn’t even want to think about him. He already displayed his strength to her, his wit and even his partly sweet side with his sister. Shaking her head against the pillow when closing her eyes again, she had to shake herself of those thoughts. That, and a mixture of the kitchen door opening only yards away from her had jaded her of her thoughts. Green orbs had shot over to the kitchen when she had heard the noise coming from before deciding to investigate though she was pretty sure she knew whom it was. Jacen and Riley were probably having way too much fun upstairs (although thinking about that wasn’t fun for her either) and there was only one guy staying in the barn: Jared. Rocky was planning on leaving and she had just hoped he didn’t beat her to the punch. She followed the gentle murmurs coming from the kitchen and this was probably what drove her interest to Jared besides physical attraction. Her curiosity towards him. Despite that Rocky didn’t feel in too prime in the state of it with her AC/DC boxer shorts and white t-shirt that would probably fit a child loosely but fit her quite snuggly, she walked on towards the kitchen. Pausing by the open wall that leads the open space that was used as the living room to the kitchen, she leaned her arm against it as she watched him like she was peeved at his presence but actually didn’t mind at all. “Looking for something?” She asked before pushing off of the wall after getting his attention and walking to the counter. Noticing the empty bar glass sitting by his little mid-AM snack, she leaned back on the counter before pushing her hands on it, lifting her weight up to sit on the Formica counter. Crossing her bare legs passively as if she didn’t know it would have an effect on a male, she opened one of the double wooden cabinet doors, revealing the various sized liquor bottles. Rocky knew this place all too well, just like she knew Jacen. Pulling out one of the bottles of a whiskey by its neck, she showed off the bottle with a smirk and handed the half drunk bottle to Jared. “You might need some ice.”

Jacen’s eyes widened, taking in a small breath when Riley had pressured on the kiss back on to him and was alarmed but he couldn’t say he wasn’t welcoming her lusting gesture towards him. He actually couldn’t believe that this was happening again. For all he knew, he would never see Riley again. There were some things he was sure of and knowing her hate for him was one of them. Yet now, they were kissing in a darkened bedroom, barely wearing any clothes. Touching her hands that traveled down his chest, he held on to one as he put the other to her cheek, pushing his digits through her hair, behind her ear as he got tangled and caught up in the moment. He shouldn’t have; he wasn’t thinking and he knew this but when that heat had rushed in from both ends, joined at the lips, it was hard to do any thinking. Hell, he certainly wouldn’t mind taking control of the situation but that small, tiny little voice that went hand-in-hand with his itty-bitty heart spoke to him. It just wouldn’t be right. If she was leaving in the morning and he had another ex-girlfriend under the same roof, he could cause some serious trouble. Still, it took him a moment of reasoning to himself of how it would be a better idea if he did stop before he finally made the decision. Detaching his lips from her, taking in a few short breaths but keeping his eyes closed, he didn’t know what else to say to her that would make her understand that it wouldn’t be right and it wasn’t just that he was a complete asshole. “Riley… I-I” He started, shaking his head as he then pushed back her hair with both hands and just looked at her before pulling away completely and allowing her some space between them. “I really think you should go,” He added. And he didn’t want to say it, but it would be better if she had left quickly for both of their sakes. However, his eyes had traveled down to her slightly open shirt and his teeth grinded against each other before recommending to her, “And uh… you might want to button a few more of those” He said before forcing himself to look away again.

"Looking for something?"Jared was happily starting into his sandwich when he heard the female voice address him. Eyes came up and stopped on the form of no other than Rocky. She had looked great with clothes on and now with very little clothing, she was a bombshell. See, most guys liked girls in their underwear because, well, that's the closest they can get to seeing them naked without them actually undressing. But Jared, he just liked that she was in shorts and a tee. Like she'd be just lazing around on a Sunday afternoon or watching TV on a Saturday night. Natural. That's how he liked to see girls best. He didn't want them all yucked up with makeup and curled hair. That high maintance crap wasn't something that was a turn on for him. So there she stood, looking like, to him, an angel who didn't even know she was one. Shaking his head to break his stare, he glanced down at his sandwich. He was trying to find his voice again. "You could always make me another sandwich if you want." He answered, taking a bite of his sandwich. Dark eyes came back up and now she was sitting on the counter. Jared was almost sure that he choked on the sandwich bite. Jesus, is she trying to kill me?! His eyes traveled up the line of her long legs. Starting at her ankles and all the way up her thighs. Looking away, he just stared at the sandwich and closed his eyes, trying to clear his mind, for his benefit and so that Jareth wouldn't get any ideas that Jared might be attracted to her. Then before he knew it, a whiskey bottle was hanging in front of his face. "You might need some ice." He stared at the bottle for a moment before taking it from her. He poured it into his glass, filling it about 1/4 full. "Ice? I was thinking more along the lines of a cold shower there, Sticks." He looked up at her with a grin and a wink. Holding up his glass, he nodded at the fridge. "Wanna ice me up, babe?" He kept the grin and locked his eyes onto hers. Maybe he could forgive her after all. She seemed like a fun girl and there was no doubt about her good looks. Jared was just afraid of being around her and having his secret get out. Maybe if she wasn't a hunter, he wouldn't be worried about it.

Staring at him in the dark, watching as he pushed her away a SECOND time, she was speechless. What the hell was going on with him? Jacen, Mr. Man Whore of the year didn't even want her around? It wasn't that she was trying to be a slut but she felt pretty crappy when someone like Jacen would tell her to shove off. His hands brushed through her hair and she closed her eyes briefly. She really cared about him, even after being away for so long. "I really think you should go." Her eyes lowered away from his and now she felt like shit. He wasn't suppose to be shoving her away, it should be the other way around. Then he had the nerve to comment on her clothing like it offended him or something. " And uh... you might want to button a few more of those." That was it. Now she really felt like some kind of slutty trash. Kneeling on the bed, she stared at him and lifted her hands to her shirt, like she was going to listen to him. But instead, she undid the top and bottom button, leaving only the center one still done up. Holding her glare, she turned around and climbed out of the bed. Riley had planned on just leaving him and stomping off to her room without a word. But when she got to the doorway, she turned and put her hands on the door jam, leaning back in. "You know, I knew you were an ass Jacen. I mean hell, you always have been. But I never, EVER, thought you could be this big of a prick. Fuck you." She snapped and then left his room. Wrapping her arms around her stomach, she stormed down the hallway, fuming and glaring the whole way. When she entered her room just a few down from his, she slammed the bedroom door so hard, it wouldn't have been surprising if the whole house shook because of it.

"You could always make me another sandwich if you want."Rocky was settled nicely on the kitchen counter top, watching his mouth bite into the sandwich he had so brazenly made. Her eyes followed the way his sturdy jaw moved up and down and could have sworn she watched him lick his lips in slow motion rather than at its normal pace. Taking in a silent yet deep breath, she looked away and leaned her arms on the counter, ready to put on her hard-to-get act again. Smirking up at him again, it was as if she were two people when she had stowed the other nervous personality and replaced it with a women who was aloof. “Nah, I’m not really up for playing waitress.” She answered. Her eyes had noticed that his went to her bare legs hanging over the edge, and honestly didn’t want it to be as if she doing this on purpose. She wasn’t supposed to want to be around this guy. No emotions. That’s how it was supposed to be with a hunter and she didn’t go and drag Jared out of the barn but still, seeing him here made her heard beat a tad faster. "Ice? I was thinking more along the lines of a cold shower there, Sticks." Laughing, Rocky shook her head at that comment and a bit of flushed red couldn’t have been prevents to come up to her cheeks and added with her dimples. “Yeah, well, I can’t help you there.” She answered, still trying to keep her eyes off of him and rather, look at the half eaten apple in the metal sink. "Wanna ice me up, babe?"Eye had then retreated back to Jared, studying him and the glass in his hand. They acted pretty comfortable with each other, but she couldn’t help hearing the words “you’re a liar” in her ears every time she looked at him. It just reminded her of how it could never work and how he’d always be a victim of a lie if they were to spend more time together. But again, her mind was clouded for a moment as her lips curled into a smirk and head-nudged towards the fridge. “Ice is in there.” She directed cruelly when she knew that she wouldn’t be the “waitress” With a grin, she hopped off of the counter to grasp the glass, her fingers touching his for a moment before pulling it away and then traveled to the white refrigerator. She opened the freezer, her back to Jared when she glanced over her shoulder at him and asked, “So… how’s the barn?” Her fingers worked to grasp a few cubes from the bin before dropping them into the glass, hearing them clank and then handed it back to Jared, moving the chair next to him so she could sit.

Jacen was stunned at Riley’s actions on some level and it was apparent that he didn’t expect it. He knew he’d probably get either a slap or a door slam for it but he was no way prepared to see her kneel on his bed and almost give him a private strip tease by unbuttoning two of the three buttons of her shit. His jaw clenched when he looked away from her again as she got off of the bed. Did he really need to be hated right now? No, but it seemed like that’s how it always ended with women. However, seeing Riley stop at the doorway and turn to face and lean in to the doorway again, and her expression didn’t get any friendly. "You know, I knew you were an ass Jacen. I mean hell, you always have been. But I never, EVER, thought you could be this big of a prick. Fuck you." Riley had answered harshly and unaffected before walking away and then slamming both his door and her own down the hall. Sighing, Jacen fell back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. Could he do anything right? Was it even possible? It seemed like in this situation, if he had slept with Riley, it would automatically be his fault since he kissed her first. Plus, if Jared found out then he’d probably have his head and if Rocky found out… well, she’d have more than just his head. However, when he tried to do something right and stop them from going too far –which he still didn’t regret doing, only slightly- she played the role of the girl who needed to feel secured and comforted instead when he knew she was stronger than that. They both had that want, but sinking that low wasn’t something Jacen wanted to do. Still, it seemed like he would be damned if he did and damned if he didn’t.

Jared felt like she could see right through him everytime her eyes fell on him. It made him nervous but he tried his best not to show it. Besides, why was he even associating with her? She had lied to them, brought them into some guy's home who was suppose to be absent. True, none of them were hurt, but the situation could have gotten ugly. Yet here he was, talking to her like nothing had happened. "Ice is in there." He frowned at her reaction and gave her little puppy dog eyes. To his surprise, she actually did end up taking the glass from him. As her back was turned to him, Jared realized he wasn't listening to her and was more focused on following the curves of her backside. Leaning back in his chair as his eyes followed the lines, he snapped back into attention when she directed a question at him. "So... how's the barn?" The chair legs slipped out and he soon found himself on his back, staring up at the ceiling. It didn't hurt at all to tell you the truth. Though he probably didn't look extremly graceful as he rolled off the chair and then pushed himself up. "Son of a bi-" But he stopped cursing and looked up at her. "It's uh...fine. I actually perfer being outside. Guess I never was bred for captivity." Winking at her, he picked up his chair and set it back upright. "So, you and Jacen huh? Were you another one of his bed warmers or are you actually just old friends?" Taking the glass, he took a drink and turned to face her. "I suppose I'm asking because 1.) I don't want you and my sister getting into some catfight over an ass like him and 2.) Because maybe I don't want to see you drooling all over him. I mean, I'm cute aren't I? You can't drool over me?" He was really just teasing her. Jared wasn't one to go looking for relationships but he had to admit that he was drawn to her. Taking his eyes off her, he stared down at his glass, waiting for her answer. He hoped he wasn't going to end up scaring her off but then again, it might be better.

Rocky’s fingers were wrapping around the ice cubes, as she transferred them from the bin to the cup before hearing the crash and her eyes instantly went to see Jared lying on the floor, staring up at the ceiling. Confusion had struck, but instead of asking, she just commented, “I think we might need more ice,” she referred to him falling but say him quickly get up, starting to spill a curse. Walking to him, she handed him the glass and wasn’t about to question what had happened just yet. Though the thought of disturbing Jacen and Riley brought an invisible grin. He played it off like nothing as he took the glass from her. "It's uh...fine. I actually prefer being outside. Guess I never was bred for captivity."He answered and she nodded to him. He did seem exceptionally interesting, as well as strange and off beat. She couldn’t place where she found her attraction towards him besides his physical appearance. In all probability it was mystery and every thing she got a taste of from him, she found intriguing. She watched him lift up the chair and the wink to her caused her to grin a bit before taking a seat in the other wooden chair. "So, you and Jacen huh? Were you another one of his bed warmers or are you actually just old friends?” He asked and then further questioned with some little comments about her and his sister along with the physical attraction that she just couldn’t keep off of her mind. How could she explain her relationship with Jacen Brice though? She could ignore the main idea all together, and go straight to answering the minor questions. With a laugh, she had looked away and pushed her hand through her hair, pushing back long dark locks as she thought. “Um, I doubt you’d have to worry about me and your sister. Though I know Jacen would have a nice smug grin when he sees two women fighting over him,” She said as she sighed and then looked back to Jared, “This thing with me and Jacen is complicated. I’d prefer to just leave it alone.” She answered and then gave a little chuckle as she thought about how to answer his next question. “And it’s not funny to tease me about my bad taste in men. And I don’t drool over anybody. At least, I don’t want to drool over anybody.” Rocky’s eyes moved away from Jared again, over to his sandwich. She didn’t want to mistaken his flirtatiousness for interest, therefore wanted to leave her answer the vaguest way possible, just so she wouldn’t make an error and show that she was interested. Though, even experience interest in Jared was frowned upon. “Um, is it cold in there? Its actually pretty warm down here so I can give you one of the blankets Jacen gave me.” She offered.

Jared listened to her quietly as she explained her relationship with Jacen. He was relieved to know that he most likely wouldn't have to worry about Ry and Rocky fighting. Then there was also a smart part of him that was glad she wasn't all wrapped up in this other guy. Made it seem like Jared might have a chance with her. "Are you insane? You even try to get close to her and Jareth will have another way to make your life miserable." But despite his best efforts to ignore her charming assets, he still found himself watching the way her lips moved and seeing the emotion in her eyes. This was going to be one interest he was liable to regret. Then the chuckle that escaped her lips, snapped him back into reality. "And it's not funny to tease me about my bad taste in men." Well if she ended up connected to him some how, that really would prove she had bad taste in men. Jared wasn't about to give in to his feeling that easy and he didn't want to burden her with his other half. He had, since his change, tried his best to come off as a jerk or asshole so that people would get driven away. But it never seemed to work and people still seemed to be drawn to him, like they had before he was a werewolf. "And I don't drool over anybody. At least, I don't want to drool over anybody." Jared had to express a grin at that remark. He was confident that if he tried, he could get her to 'drool' over him. "So I suppose if I start stripping, you'll be able to contain yourself? I mean, if not, I'll be happy to fetch you a towel." He kept the grin on his lips as he reached for his sandwich. Taking a bite, he set the sandwich down and studied her out of the corner of his eye. She wouldn't look at him; at least, she was trying not to look at him. What was she afraid of? Jared donned a serious expression as he tried to figure her out. When it came to judging if a woman was interested in him or not, it had always proven so easy for him. But with Rocky, he found it difficult. One comment or look would lead him to think she was interested. Then something else would be said and she would appear to be completely turned away. But it was probably better for her not to have interest. "Um, is it cold in there? It's actually pretty warm down here, so I can give you one of the blankets Jacen gave me." He didn't know why but this made Jared start to laugh. He was use to sleeping outside now. Even in the winter and it really didn't prove to be a nuisance to him. The whole being able to morph into a being covered in fur tended to help. Containing the laughter, he looked over at her. "Actually its not bad. I mean, I don't know about you but I prefer to be outdoors. Course," He shrugged like it was no big deal. "If you were offering up yourself, instead of the blanket, to keep me warm, I'd take you up on the offer." His eyes fell on her and they were lit up with mischief. "What do you say?"

"So I suppose if I start stripping, you'll be able to contain yourself? I mean, if not, I'll be happy to fetch you a towel.” Rocky nodded and chuckled when looking away, shaking her head. Man, this guy was pretty bold. She didn’t know if that was a good thing or not, considering that timid men usually were easier to deal with. Jacen was the boldest as they come and nobody could honestly say they liked that quality in him. “Nah, I think I’m good not drenching my clothes with salvia.” Rocky answered as she laughed and touched her fingers, lightly tapping her fingers to wooden kitchen table. She felt Jared’s eyes on her still, but kept her glance away from his, trying to be inconspicuous. Rocky’s eyes couldn’t help but wander to Jared again when they were speaking. Its just good manners. That was her excuse to herself when she really wanted to take in his features and expressions tossed to her before they were interrupted by speech again. "Actually its not bad. I mean, I don't know about you but I prefer to be outdoors. Course, if you were offering up yourself, instead of the blanket, to keep me warm, I'd take you up on the offer. What do you say?"Rocky’s eyes fixed on Jared’s beautiful brown orbs, getting lost in them for a moment but still, what he was asking was running on in her head. Yep, definitely a bold man. But was he serious again or just playing with her? She really couldn’t tell plus, even if he were serious, he was still a stranger to her. She knew his name and that’s as far as it went with personal information. It didn’t sound like her safest idea so far. Chuckling, she had looked away and scratched the back of her head, “Yeah, I’m thinking… no.” She said before getting up. “Good try though,” She said as she got up and patted his shoulder like a job well done. “I almost didn’t think you were an asshole for a whole half a minute.” She said. Walking away from him, towards the living room again, leaving him in the kitchen as she said, still trying to act aloof as she retreated to her couch again. “Enjoy your sandwich and don’t make too much noise on your way out.” Pulling back the blankets, she knew she was harsh on the guy. But really, how could she even think it would go anywhere? It was better to be harsh to him, especially since they were parting ways in the morning.

"Yeah, I'm thinking...no. Good try though."Jared wasn't surprised she said no. Hell, he was only joking with her. As her hand came down on his shoulder in a pat, he turned his face to look up at her. Jared had always been one to respect women and protect them. Probably came from him being brought up with just his mother and sister. So when he saw Rocky standing there in the low light of the kitchen, not made up at all, he was sure she'd stolen his heart. But that didn't matter, since in the morning, she'd be gone. A little smile played on his lips as he took another bite and licked his lips. "I almost didn't think you were an asshole for a whole half a minute." Then she went on her way and Jared had to admit, he watched her walk out the whole way. He may have been a respecting kind of guy, but he was still a guy. "Enjoy your sandwich and don't make any noise on your way out." Chuckling, he lowered his eyes and continued to eat his sandwich. She was a little ball of fire, that one. And he enjoyed being around her, but it wasn't something that was going to last. So he sat there, eating his sandwich and polishing off the drink. When he slipped out, he made not a single sound. *** Jared had slept through the night pretty solidly. Though there had been intervals where images of Rocky bounced through his head. He couldn't get his mind off her, yet it did him no good to think about her. As soon as he could, he was getting himself and Riley back to the manner. Jareth was likely to be pissed and would hold Jared accountable for that. Opening his eyes, he lay on this back, staring up at the ceiling. Rubbing one bare shoulder, he must have lost his shirt sometime in the night, he let out a yawn. Judging by the light that came through window, it wasn't too early in the morning. He reached over and grabbed his cellphone from his bag. "Seven o'clock. Not horrid." Dropping it down, he rubbed his palms against his eyes. The other's might not be up yet, he knew for a fact Riley could sleep til noon if she had the oppurtunity. Jared just hope to God she wasn't sleeping in a different room. Though, being out here, he wouldn't know if she had or not. Not unless she told him. Besides, the last time he butted into her private life, he got stabbed with a shoe. Yes, a shoe. A nice, 4 inches of high heel ended up in his thigh. And the hurtful thing was that she wasn't even sorry. So now he lay there, caught up in his thoughts as the sun from the window shined down on him. Even with his heightened, werewolf senses, the hadn't heard the door to the barn open.

Form had stretched, muscles pulling to elongate her body, everywhere from finger to toe. After Rocky showed off her cat like stretch across the couch as she started to wake, muscles relaxed. Her eyelids opened and hazily he girl looked around the room. Soundless sleep welcome her after Jared left; perhaps more so than she wanted. Her goal was to only sleep 5hours and leave but with the sun illuminating through the living room windows, she wasn’t sure about the time of day. A groan slipped from Rocky’s pinked lips before sitting up on the couch, resisting and not actually wanting to get up, therefore, was being passive. Walking towards the kitchen to get something to drink, she already heard sounds from the room. When approaching, expression less than please, she witnessed Jacen taking orange juice from the refrigerator and pour some into a glass. When he looked up though, he greeted her wit a smile, “Well, mornin’ Freckles”There was no response from Rocky verbally; just walked into the kitchen further and taking the glass Jacen had in his hand. Taking a sip, she walked back over to the wooden table, setting it down when taking a seat. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Jacen walk next to her again, “Sleep well?” He asked before taking a drink from the glass himself. Nodding, Rocky looked over to a bowl of fruit, though one orange looked fake. While answering, Rocky reached for it “It was fine.” She answered and then gave the light fruit a squeeze, discovering it was Styrofoam and that confused her a bit. Quickly following her answer, she questioned him, “Why do you have this?” She added, looking up with a tilt and puzzled expression but was trying to hide her smile. Glancing down at the orange, Rocky noticed, Jacen answered simply “It’s a stress ball” He said and then took a seat next to her as he said, getting back on to the topic, “Anyways, why I ask is because I heard some activity down here," And with that, Rocky saw the corner of his lips curling into a smile, implying something crude then he added, “Something you want to tell me?”Rocky shook her head with a smile, trying to refrain it from widening. Good old Jacen. He’ll always be the same and she loved it and hated it at the same time. “That’s funny, cause I didn’t hear any ‘activity’ upstairs.” She said and then replaced her grin with a fake sorry pout, “Is there something you want to tell me? Riley not putting out?” She asked just to tease him. Smiling again, she got up off the chair with the orange still in her hand, but still stood between Jacen and her chair, looking down at him with his next insult but she could tell it was obvious that he wasn’t angry, but smiling. “Bitch.” Rocky raised a brow, not dropping to a frown when she answered, “Ass.” She then turned to walk away before feeling a hard slap against her rear, “Tease” However, Rocky stayed unaffected as she walked towards the door to go outside. “Duck.” She stated as she opened the door, then heard Jacen laugh a bit and then question her again, “Did you just call me a duck?” Stopping, Rocky answered quickly while during, “No. Duck” In a moment, Rocky turned and threw the Styrofoam orange, aiming for his head and if Jacen didn’t take her advice, she would have made her target. Instead though, it hit the wooden cabinet behind him with a “POP!” Grinning again, Rocky turned back to exit the kitchen, and walked towards the barn. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rocky’s steps were quiet strides as she made her way to the barn She had one duffle back in the house, however, when carrying Jacen’s rifle yesterday, she had forgotten her other in the barn. Knowing that Jared was still there, she only assumed he would be asleep and would allow her to sneak in and gather her clothes. Opening the barn door carefully, she peeked into the barn. “Hello?” She said as she examined the barn but when entering, she didn’t see anybody; not even Jared. Puzzled, Rocky just entered the barn and had seen her duffle bag still sitting near the lanterns where she had left it. An idea had struck her however, when walking towards the bag. She honestly didn’t want to deal with Jacen again and if she were to just get dressed her, she could leave. Granted, that would mean Jared and Riley would be left here to fend for themselves but really, it didn’t matter much. Regrettably, she wouldn’t see them again. Therefore, it wouldn’t if she changed here and left. Unzipping the duffle bag, Rocky shuffled through the various articles of clothing and then laid out a few of them to change into. Slender fingers touched the hem of her shirt, pausing to think. Jared was probably still passed out. And if he wasn’t, she had to admit that she wouldn’t be surprised if him and Riley Had left already. They were hunters; she didn’t expect them to stay. So when she convinced herself it would be okay, Rocky peeled the tight white shirt off of her again. Form was only covered by the black bra and shorts; skin that was exposed was naturally tan. Muscles were apparent, though weren’t cut. Hand touched her stomach before grasping the pajama shorts, pulling down the cloth before tossing it with the shirt on the bag. Picking up the light blue, faded and frayed jeans, she slipped them on and buttoned them up. Kneeling down, she plucked up the tank top, slipping it on before taking the plaid, beige, short-sleeved button down. Buttoning it up, she flipped out her hair from inside of the shirt. Senses then perked up when hearing an off sound in the barn, she quickly turned around, looking for another being though there was none in the site.
