"Damnit, Riley. Why do you always have to be such a bitch?"Riley's face stayed blank, expressionless. Point for her. Bringing her eyes up, she stared at Jacen. She wasn't sure if this was a question she was suppose to answer or not. Best not antagonize him and carry on with the bitchness. Her mouth stayed close, cept for when she took another bite of cereal. "I mean, you're acting like it's all my fault when it ain't. You came into my bedroom last night looking for God knows what and I try to do the morally right thing." Ok, now her face had expression. Dropping her spoon, she glared fire at him. "I came in looking for another blanket!" She growled and didn't let up when she fired off more. "And what would be the morally right part, you pinning me down on the bed and lip locking with me. Or the part where you threw me out of your room like some 10 cent whore?" She asked, making sure to keep the venom in her tone. Pushing her chair back, she folded her arms and watched him. Didn't look like this apology was going well on either end. Course Jacen went on to be...well, Jacen “If you rather me throw you down on the table right now and do it all right up Tennessee style, then I’ve got no problem with that." Riley had to admit, she did bite her lip and think for a moment. Here they were, fighting and now her mind was wandering. But she snapped back to reality, hopefully before he noticed the pause. Glaring up at him, she decided it was best not to say anything. "And just for the record, sweetcheeks, not every girl would have been chased out of my room. That was just for you." Her mouth dropped and she stared at him. If that was suppose to make her feel better, he was sure barking up the wrong tree. "So why did you chase me away, huh? You don't strike me as the kind of guy to chase any girl away. Was it because Rocky was here?" She asked. Hell, she was suprised last night that he did kiss her but she wasn't going to say she hated it. If they had hooked up, no big deal, she'd be gone this morning anyways. Pushing herself up, she stood as well, staring into his eyes like she was baiting him to say more or do something.

Jared watched her, watching him. It was like a large predatory and his prey. The little animal would stare up at the beast who was standing there calm and collected. But he'd never attack her, never plan on hurting her. When her eyes came up to his, he found himself lost in those pools of green. Why did she have such a pull on him? He was the kind of guy who enjoyed the company of women, just as friends, but since he turned, she was the first to really tug at his heartstrings. "Oh yeah, I'm definatly hungry." Just the way she said it made him grin. He exposed two rows of pearly whites, not saying a word though. She didn't strike him as someone to get flustered and stutter, yet here she was doing exactly that. It was him. He was doing this to her and that thought kept the grin on his face. "I mean, well, .. you know what I mean." Jared watched her back up. He saw the corner behind her. "Hey watch ou-" But her back had already hit the sharp surface. He winced for her. But she was starting to leave and he didn't want that. "Uh, ouch, I'll see you at breakfast.""Whoa wait. You're not gonna walk me there? It'll take me two seconds to get dressed." Backing up to his bag, he turned around to look at her. "No peeking." He teased with a cute little smile. Turning back around again, he wasn't sure if she'd advert her eyes or not. It really wouldn't bother her but hey, he was just a guy. The pajama pants dropped and it became quiet clear that was all he'd been wearing. Which wasn't a surprise but hey, he told her to turn around. Quickly digging through his bag, he pulled out a pair of boxers and jeans, dropping them to the floor. Was he taking his time? Nah, never. Soon he slipped into both, the jeans being a light blue with a torn knee. They looked pretty beat to hell. The white shirt came off again and he replaced it with a red one that said 'I'm not a doctor but I'd be happy to take a look' and had a little nurse hat with a stethoscope on it. Turning around, he grinned at her. "Well, shall we?" Reaching back, he plucked up a base ball cap and pulled it on backwards, grinning at her.

"And what would be the morally right part, you pinning me down on the bed and lip locking with me. Or the part where you threw me out of your room like some 10 cent whore?”
Jacen looked away in frustration; just wandering along the walls of the room, refusing to look at her again. Though when she had started to raise her voice back to him, countering him again. He shook his head, and answered honestly, "Oh trust me, sweetheart, if you were just some random 10 cent whore, I would have never thrown you out of the room like I did." He stared at her hard, and didn’t know if that had to be explained to her that it was because he cared about her that he didn’t further his actions. "So why did you chase me away, huh? You don't strike me as the kind of guy to chase any girl away. Was it because Rocky was here?"Thinking it was easier to just answer it that way, he nodded, agreeing. "Yeah, that’s why." He answered simply with a scoff and a shake of his head again to signal that he wasn’t serious and couldn’t believe she was that oblivious. Though really, he knew she wasn’t oblivious, just wanted to hear him say that he did care about her. And saying that was something he really couldn’t do. “Listen dove, I don’t know why you have it in you’re head that what I did was such a horrible thing but I really think I spared you a lot of grief and I’m sorry if I was wrong.” Sighing, he realized that nothing was going to help him in this situation so he just decided it would be best to leave the issue alone. Looking down, he licked his lips in thought and spoke to her, though never met her eyes again. “Listen, maybe you should just get ready. It’s not worth trying to get back on good terms if we’re too stubborn.”

Riley's eyes watched him and she tried to hold back the guilt. Was everything he was saying true? God, she hoped not. Jacen had been an ass when she first met him. Yet for some reason, she'd still managed to fall in love. Was it because he allowed her to see a different side sometimes or because she'd been in a somewhat rebound mood? It still confused her but either way, her feelings hadn't changed. She'd repressed them when they fought that one night and she left, but never lost them. So when he spoke to her now, his words did cut deep. But she fought to not let them show. "Oh trust me, sweetheart, if you were just some random 10 cent whore, I would have never thrown you out of the room like I did." Ok, the low blow lines were really eating away at her now. Whether this was him being funny or just, him, she didn't care. Putting one hand on her hip, she shifted her weight and stared at him with fire eyes. "Oh well, let me change my occupation so I can be more suitable in your eyes." She snapped back. Hell, he still didn't seem to get the idea she hadn't even come in looking for a booty call. She just wanted a damn blanket but no. He had to go and pin her on the bed, kiss her like that, then toss her out. Of course she was gonna kiss him back. Course she didn't like his answer when he agreed Rocky was the reason for last nights fiasco. “Listen dove, I don’t know why you have it in you’re head that what I did was such a horrible thing but I really think I spared you a lot of grief and I’m sorry if I was wrong.”"So you figured the best way to 'spare me' was to toss me out and make me feel like *I* did something wrong? Yeah Jacen, you're mind is a sharp as a razor. People really should be bowing down to you and making sacrifices in your name." She shot back at him with a saucy attitude. Then the discussion was basically over, when he told her just to get ready to go. He was right though, they were both too stubborn to apologize. But damn it all if she was gonna walk away angry at him again. Walking up to him, she cupped his face and pressed her lips to his. It was a tender kiss, none of the lust from last night. The only thing here now, being transferred onto him, where her true feelings. Pulling away, her eyes found his own beautiful blues and her thumb brushed his cheek. "I'm sorry. Maybe you're right. Maybe you saved from a lot of grief but on the other hand, maybe you should have taken the chance." With that said, she pulled and away, putting her back to him. She left him there, standing in the kitchen. Now the only question plaguing her mind was 'should she have done more?'. Her feet carried her up the stairs and she disappeared back into her room. There were clothes to back and toiletries to assemble.

Focus just set on Jared and didn’t divert her glance yet due to her state of shock. What was this, some king of foreplay game? Oh but Rocky couldn’t think that way or even allow the word “foreplay” to arise. When Jared told her to look away, she cocked her heard to the side before finally realized he was serious and then quickly looked away again. “Oh yeah, um… sorry” She said before turning fully around, her back to him and her hands on her hips as she waited. She thought that she’d be able to handle it all but then the impulse to see if he was done came. Of course, part of her thought it was because she wanted to just see him but was convincing herself that it was just to check up on him. Peering over her should, she saw Jared was still fixing his boxers on his thighs and waist and looked away again. But just diverting her head in a different direction wasn’t enough; she had to clench her eyes closed. When hearing the footsteps coming towards her again though, she opened her eyes and turned around with an attempting inconspicuous smile as she watched him put the baseball cap on him backwards. "Well, shall we?"Eying him up and down for a moment to see he was fully dressed, she nodded and quickly looked to the stairs again, “Uh yes, please,” Starting down the stairs again, hand lightly touching the railing as she stared down at her feet before getting to the first level. But even then, she couldn’t bring up her eyes to him, though when traveling towards the exit with him, she looked up at him with still a friendly and light smile, “So, how much did you see?”

"Uh yes, please." Jared grinned as he stared down at her. She seemed a little embarrassed. It was cute, her under some kind of pressure. He kept up with her, right on her heels. Had he been that evil when he changed in front of her? She couldn't even look at him and that just made him grinn even wider. "So, how much did you see?" Bout time she asked. "Oh I don't know." He started, acting like there wasn't going to be much to tell. But he gave in, for her sake. "You do have nice skin. Rounded hips, two clasp bra. Though it seems a little small. Might want to step up to a more fuller size." Ok, well, she had asked. Once they came to the bottom of the stairs, he put an arm around her shoulder casually. "Let's just be honest. You won't be posing for Playboy any time soon but Sports Illustrated wouldn't be a bad idea." Looking over at her, he grinned and walked with her out of the bar. He may have just eaten last night, but the added bonus of being a werewolf made him hungry almost all the time. "How much did you see?" He asked, feeling like mocking her. Hell he stripped all the way down for her. Modesty was never a big thing with him but putting her on the spot was fun. Looking over at her, he still hadn't removed his arm. It wouldn't be wise to fall for her now but he was thinking he could handle it. She was pretty, strong and didn't seem to hold back when ever she was thinking something. His kind of girl. That is, if he was human and she wasn't a hunter. Such was his complicated life. Leading her to house, he opened the door and let her walk in. Whether it was mistake or he meant it, his arm slid down over her back, hand down her arm. Quickly he pulled his arm away and smiled nervously at her. Stepping in after her, he caught the site of Jacen. Though he wasn't sure if he was happy to see Riley absent. "Jacen," He started in the not exactly most friendly tone. "Where's Ry? Is she up yet?"

Jacen’s mind nor lips knew how to respond to Riley’s kiss and honestly didn’t even know if this was good or not. After contemplation though, he came to the consensus that it was a negative. He had stopped his actions from going any further last night to spare them both but Riley had continued to press the matter and these supposed “friendly kisses” weren’t helping either of them. Sighing, he looked down and noticed the stress orange resting by his feet. Bending down, he grasped the fake fruit to pluck it up. Once tossing it to his hand again, energy just burst. Pivoting to turn towards the living room, form faced it as he briskly threw the ball, hearing it smack against the opposite wall. His frustration kept rising ever since he caught them in the barn last night and that was his small release. And when the door opened to the kitchen and he heard Jared’s voice, he put his game face back on. Turning to face the couple again, he eyed them and their weird stance. Both Jared and Rocky had seemed pretty pleased at the moment. How friendly had they gotten in the past 12 hours? "Jacen, where's Ry? Is she up yet?"Jacen sighed with a small smirk as he took a few steps forward to them. “Uh yeah, she’s up. Came down for some breakfast then went back up to pack her things I’m guessing.” He answered. Walking to the table, he grabbed the stray tableware and put it back in the sink, allowing it to clank. Looking to the couple again as he leaned his hands on the metal sink. “You can go up to see her you know.”

"Let's just be honest. You won't be posing for Playboy any time soon but Sports Illustrated wouldn't be a bad idea."Rocky’s eyes fixed on the wooden stairs she was connecting her feet to with each step before eyes when back up to him as they walked. Brow rose at his answer, corner of her lip curling into a grin before chuckling. Emerald orbs varied between looking at the floor and shyly looking at the man adjacent to her. “Really? Cause I know I’m pretty well built but I’m not like some men… who look like they’ve been on steroids their whole lives.” She teased since Jared was very built and seeing him without a shirt just furthered her reason for a staring reflex. "How much did you see?"Rocky’s glance then looked back down again when she debated on how to answer this and although the natural reaction would be a flirtatious comment, she knew that with that, she would still have to leave Jared soon and would rather keep her distance. Smile decreased when she answered, “I didn’t look,” But with that, she felt as if it was too cold for her character. Glancing up to him as they continued to walk towards the house, feeling Jared’s weight over her shoulders, she added, “But don’t worry. I’m sure that you can make the cover of Men’s Health.” Approaching the house, she felt Jared’s hand slip down her back, over her arm and couldn’t help from the small hairs in the back of her neck rise. However, seeing Jacen in his less than joyful atmosphere killed the mood. His words weren’t really soft but rather in a more sarcastic and aloof tone. “You can go up to see her you know.” Rocky’s eyes shot over to glance at Jared and parted her lips as she thought. Her and Riley weren’t really the best of pals but she still needed to speak with her about their traveling arrangements. “Uh, I’ll go up and talk to her. Just uh…” Looking to Jacen, she saw his small glared. “…stay.” She finished. And with that tone, it basically had a warning laced around it. Leaving the two boys, still worried, she walked back to the stairs and quickly jogged up them to the guest room. Seeing the door closed, she paused outside of it before knocking her knuckles against the wood. “Ry? Its Rocky, can I come in?”

"You can go up to see her you know." Cold eyes settled on Jacen but Jared's lip didn't remove in any kind of response. Though his suggestion seemed like a good one. But before Jared could go retrieve his sister, Rocky came foreward to his surprise. He turned and watched her profile. "Uh, I'll go up and talk to her. Just uh, stay here." Jared's eyes slid back over to Jacen with a calm, almost blank expression. He knew almost nothing about the guy, except for his involvement with Rocky and, even worse, Ry. Yet he couldn't help his instant distaste for him. Maybe it was that he was protective of Riley and had a slight..SLIGHT interest in Rocky. The tension had started to build in the small kitchen. Perhaps that was why Rocky left. She could feel it, was Jared's guess. As she left the room, he could help but watch her til she disappeared around the doorway. This sudden attraction to her, the slight one, really puzzled him. She was beautiful, seemed pretty strong from what he'd seen, smart and not someone who plays damsel in distress often. Would some people call that the perfect girl? And if so, why was he hesitating to get to know her? Oh right, the 'getting furry' personality trait. With that thought floating around in his head, he turned to Jacen. "So," He struggled a little with keeping his beast contained. The little peep show this morning in the barn had drawn it out. "I assume you slept well? Alone." Jared knew Rocky had crashed on the couch last night. Was he sure she stayed there the whole night? Was he sure Riley stayed in her room? Hell, he couldn't help it. Thought it was normal for him to worry about Ry, but not about some girl he just met. He really had no buisness knowing what Rocky had been up to. But the memory of her coming out to see him last night in the kitchen brought a little smile to his face. His legs carried him over to the fridge. The longer he waited to eat, the more irritable he'd be. He'd always had a big appetite, but being a werewofl only expanded that hunger. With no premission, he pulled items from the fridge. A couple of eggs, cheese and what might have the ability to become a sausage patty. "Got any bagels?" He turned to Jacen with a hint of a smirk. They were suppose to be guests in his house and, well, hots fed the guests. Everything went on the counter and he went on a mission looking for a pan. With his back to the other man, Jared kept on with the trying to start a conversation. "So you know Rocky, huh? Is it a 'we go way back' kind of thing?" He glanced back at Jacen.

Riley had hiked back upstairs to change and start packing. All her movements were quick and angry. Jacen always confused her, angered her and made her feel like a child most of the time. But then there were times when he didn't. When she considered him a friend and felt safe around him. Times when they actually had fun just being around eachother. She liked that she could joke with him, that he wouldn't treat her like a glass ballerina 100% of the time. Gathering up her shirt, she pulled it over her head. The shirt was a small grey tee, showing off just a small line of skin. The logo on the shirt was 'AC/DC' in silver. She pushed her fingers through her loose hair, looking for a belt. One made out of bottle caps is what was slipped through her belt loops. The jeans were dark, faded on the knees.
Most of the room was picked up. A few toiletries remained in the bathroom and clothes were piled by her duffle. She moved about in a brooding silence. The sound of a knock at the door made her stop. Was it Jacen? Hell, it was probably Jared ready to get the heck out of here. But then she heard Rocky's voice, asking to come in.
"Ry? It's Rocky, can I come in?" Riley couldn't help but think about what the hell she would want. But she pushed all that jealousy crap aside. So the girl lied to her, big deal. Riley lied to tons of people. So she may have had a past with Jacen. I'm sure lots of girls do. Tucking her hair behind her ears, she sighed.
"Yeah. Sure." Turning around, she went back to picking up some clothes. Dumping them back by the duffle, she went towards the bathroom. It took her a few seconds, but she came back out with an armful of shower items and other care products. She kneeled in front of her bad to put them away. "Uh, have you seen my brother up and about?" She pushed off the floor and looked up at Rocky. Obviously she was still blind to Jared's interest in the other hunter. Tucking her thumbs in her back pockets, she found it almost akward to talk to her.

Form shifted as he watched the hunter travel up the stairs before he realized both him and Jared were looking to her. Chuckling at the irony, he shook his head as he paced over to the counter, leaning back his weight on the Formica. Eyes had followed Jared however and a small glare was tossed to him after his comment. “I assume you slept well? Alone.”The glare was then accompanied by a smug grin and thought about his answer. Speaking honestly would only put him on par with Jared. However, lying would just fuel the fire. He wanted to get the guest angry but Jared would be leaving soon and it wouldn’t be worth it. One question did plague his mind though. Was he more worried about Riley or Rocky? Pushing the thoughts aside though, he answered the question simply, arms folding over his chest. “Yeah,” As Jared walked around the kitchen, Jacen shifted uncomfortably and eyed him as he wondered if he was really going to serve Jared. Gutting through it, jaw clenched before reaching to the plastic bag on the counter that cased the bagels. Grasping it, he chucked the bag to Jared’s arms for him to catch before leaning back again. It wasn’t that Jacen didn’t like Jared; but he didn’t know him. And he’s dealt with protective brothers before and just getting him angry was part of the game he liked to play. "So you know Rocky, huh? Is it a 'we go way back' kind of thing?"Grinning once he heard the question of Rocky, Jacen didn’t waste any time countering. “Why? Think I’m a challenge for you?” Though it wasn’t very insulting, along with his smirk and how they both knew thy were going to speak of Riley at one point, Jacen’s words were a way to increase the tension between them. Shaking his head and shrugging like he wasn’t proud, “Well, obviously you know we have a history but you don’t really want to know about that… do you?” With that rhetorical question, he added a smug expression. He knew Jared probably didn’t feel that way about Rocky but he asked about them for a reason and getting under a person’s skin is what Jacen did and what he liked to do.

After the voice of Riley rang out through the door, hand hesitantly worked to grasp the knob of the wooden door. Opening it, form walked in as eyes searched for the girl while closing the door behind her. “Hey,” she greeted when seeing her come from the bathroom to then just stood there awkwardly, hands rubbing over her thighs. They both felt the tension between them and Rocky knew she wasn’t Riley’s favorite person now. With Jacen being in both their pasts and her more than flirtatious attitude towards Jared, Riley wasn’t going to take a liking to her any time soon and she knew it. Weight shifted as she stood there and was thankful that Riley said the first thing to her so they didn’t just avoid words with each other. "Uh, have you seen my brother up and about?" Lips then parted because a thought had raced into her head. Oh yeah… I saw him all right. Bringing back down to reality, she stuttered out nervously, “Uh… uh yeah, h-he’s downstairs now, talking to Jacen. Something I think I should be chaperoning,” She took a few steps towards Riley, rubbing her palms slowly together as she tried to get to the point. “I just came up here to see if you were ready.” Eyes scanned over the duffle bag she had been packing things into before starting, not looking up at the brunette again, “Just… to clear things up, where exactly am I taking you guys?” She asked. And that was assuming that she still was going to be their driver; she wouldn’t blame them if they planned on leaving again. Rocky lied quiet a bit since she’s met then, and that was including even her identity. She had a hunt to finish up north, and she didn’t think these hunters would want to tag along even if she wasn’t the most hated person in the household right now.

The bagel bag flew at him and Jared caught it. So Jacen didn't like him, big deal. Still wearing a smile, he started up the burner for the pan. It was comforting to know that Jacen had been alone last night. But the smile grew when he remembered seeing Rocky last night and then again this morning. He had to admitt, he was less enthusiastic about leaving now. As the circular patties sizzled, Jared tried to keep his attention on Jacen. It seemed like both men were going to antagonize eachother, the whole time they were in the same room together. “Why? Think I’m a challenge for you? " Jared didn't say anything to his remark. If they were talking in terms of strength, Jared would win. In terms of sweeping women of their feet? Well, he didn't have much practice with that. But he never did drop his smile. "Well, obviously you know we have a history but you don’t really want to know about that… do you?”"You don't believe that I am just genuinly curious about the women in your life?" He asked, playing it off like he was offended. "I mean did Rocky make the same mistake as my sister and end up involved with you? Or are you really just good 'ole hunting buddies?" Flipping over the sausage, he turned and crossed his arms over his chest, watching Jacen. He knew he was pushing his luck, bringing his sister into this and then trying to pry his way into Jacen's relationship with Rocky. Jared could be a brat, a jerk when he really tried. And Jacen's relationship with both girls made it easy. "Not that I'm saying your some big mistake with every girl, but then again I really don't know you, so maybe I shouldn't judge." Turning his head, he looked over at the doorway. Why was he so eager to see Rocky coming back through there? There'd been plenty of woman who passed through his life just as briefly as her, but he had paid little attention to all of them. Except two that were pretty much forced on him. Now here he was, hoping for just another glimpse. Another chance to say some teasing remark to make her smile. Smiling to himself, he was distracted for a moment. Finally he snapped back into reality. "No, honestly. What do you know about our Ms. Knight?" He asked, unfolding his arms and turning back around. One hand gripped the pan handle and the other held the plastic spatula. Better focus on Roc and not his sister. He didn't need to be decking anyone today. Least not before he ate and satisfied the beast. Course if something had happened in the barn..he'd already be content. But he wasn't sure Rocky would approve of being thrown down on the floor boards and well... Course that wasn't Jared's way. Honest Abe. But things do happen when you lose that control. But right now, if he got angry and struck out, they'd be making a little side trip to the hospital to reset Jacen's jaw. Jared would find it hilarious but despite being related and the whole 'Bro's before ho's' or in Jacen's case 'jerk's' idea, Riley wouldn't agree.

Watching Rocky curiously, she seemed a little distracted when Jared was mentioned. Riley never got to play the protective role. Least not when it came to defending him from women she didn't approve of. Some lonely girl may be interested in him, but he never paid them any attention back. But Rocky answered her and Ry pushed aside any suspicions. Her eyes dropped down and she knelt by her luggage again. “Uh… uh yeah, h-he’s downstairs now, talking to Jacen. Something I think I should be chaperoning,” "Jared will be fine if he doesn't get cocky." Then Riley paused and thought for a moment. Ok, yeah, that was impossible. "Ok, well, that's a fat chance. He has a knack for being able to speak and not even have to think at all." She replied as she folded a pair of jeans. But now she was growing curious about the look from earlier. "So, did he try some of his charm on you?" Her eyes found themselves looking up at Rocky as she smirked. Jared didn't flirt on a regular basis. But Dominic had been rubbing off on him slowly. The zipper glided along smoothly and Ry stood, finished with the packing. She went over to the bed and started smoothing out the sheets, tucking corners. Though as she worked on that, she found her mind wandering back to Jacen and last night. He had to be one of the most confusing guys she knew. Everytime she thought she had him figured out, he'd do a complete 180 on her. Like I don't have enough issues to deal with in my life right now... But they were leaving and Jacen Brice would be part of the past again. She left her own little world when Rocky addressed her again. “Just… to clear things up, where exactly am I taking you guys?” "Oh uh, well as close as you can get us to Charleston, North Carolina. Even just five miles from here would be great. I'll have to get my car out later..." She just drifted off, thinking to herself. Hell! If Rocky hadn't come along, Jared could have pushed her out as if it were a matchbox car.

"You don't believe that I am just genuinely curious about the women in your life?"It was difficult for Jacen to understand Jared’s motives with all this. Perhaps he was like Jacen where he just liked to get under men’s skin and a woman’s skirt. Now Jacen was starting to think he could be a challenge. But being this confident in the game, Jacen welcomed Jared’s words with a smug grin. "I mean did Rocky make the same mistake as my sister and end up involved with you? Or are you really just good 'ole hunting buddies? …Not that I'm saying your some big mistake with every girl, but then again I really don't know you, so maybe I shouldn't judge."Jacen’s grin was then diminished as he was verbally starting to be taken down. It didn’t faze him too much but Riley had obviously said something about their relationship. Either that, or Jared was just great at reading people. He didn’t exactly know how to answer again, but he knew that he wanted to get Jared to think. He wanted him doubting his sister and even have him ponder the likes of Rocky since he seemed pretty interested in her as well. “Can’t say that it was all innocent laughs and just taking sips of wine.” He answered with another shrug. “I mean, you only live once, right? But if you’re so curious, why don’t you ask the ladies? I’m sure they wouldn’t mind telling you the long story.” Leave it to Jacen Brice to make something sound dirty. "No, honestly. What do you know about our Ms. Knight?"Jacen couldn’t exactly muster up an answer because, well, he didn’t have one. The only thing he knew about Rocky were the things that happened while they were together. Reminiscing over the past wasn’t common for them except for knowing a few basic facts. “Well uh… great kisser.” He said again just to get Jared upset but then buckled down again. “Uh, standard hunter story: Mom died, dad was a hunter. I heard she came down from a long line of them and instead of her parents banging out a boy like the rest of the line, she came out. Her dad died after she learned the basics. Then, just made her way after that.” He explained. The smug grin returned to Jacen’s face after explaining it, corners of his lips curling into a grin, “Why?” He asked. Now he was honestly curious why Jared was so interested. And Jacen knew that Jared would be asking the same question if he started asking about his sister.
